The UN children's agency (UNICEF) says it is becoming increasingly difficult for more than 150,000 people access clean water, food and other essential services and aid workers are also finding it extremely difficult to help tens of thousands of people caught up in fighting in Baghdad. Of almost 1,000 people who have died in recent fighting, aid agencies say around 60% of them are women and children.
