08Feb2008 Muslim Backing Of Al-Qaeda Wanes (WP)

Senior U.S. intelligence officials believe that , following the terrorist attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan which have killed mainly Muslims, support for Al Qaeda is waning in the Muslim world. Part of the decline in finance for Al Qaeda is atributed to the actions of the Saudi Arabian Government and its arrest of terrorists in the Kingdom.
