The Saudi-based Islamic Development Bank has donated $130 million to Bangladesh on behalf of a single, anonymous donor. This is the largest single donation ever given to Bangladesh by an individual and will be largely spent on repairing schools and shelters in the cyclone-devasted areas of the country.
