An official source at the Ministry of the Interior said that simultaneous search operations, by the security forces, of twelve residential areas in the city of Riyadh, the province of Kharj and the province of Majmaah resulted in thirteen arrests, with additional four arrested in other locations. All of the arrested persons were Saudis.
The security authorities have verified that some of the people arrested participated in the activities of the deviant group. Others were suspected of cooperating with them and sympathizing with their ideas.
During search of these sites, the security forces managed to seize weapons, ammunitions, computers, publications and assorted documents.
The operations were carried out without any injuries or damage.
