01Dec2005 As Many As 300 People Embrace Islam

Dulam, Saudi Arabia , 1 December, 2005

Since 1421AH, 300 people of various nationalities have converted to Islam at the cooperative office of Dawah (calling for Islam), guidance and education in Al-Dulam town in Al-Kharj governorate.

A report released by the office showed that, last year, it organized as many as 182

Islamic lectures, in addition to several similar lectures delivered in girls' schools in town.

The report also showed that the office of Du'aah (callers to Islam) delivered 978 Islamic addresses last year . The office, for which five Du'aah work full-time and can speak seven languages, has organized eight Islamic courses. These five Du'aah have also delivered 1,381 Islamic lectures to expatriates.

The report stated that the office intends to implement some projects in the near future to support its activities on a permanent basis.
