Riyadh, 28 November, 2005

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulations to Angela Merkel on the occasion of her election as Germany's new Chancellor.

The King expressed his good wishes to the new Chancellor, and highlighted the existing friendly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Germany.
