18Nov2005 Crown Prince Sultan Receives Amr Mussa In Cairo

Cairo, 18 November, 2005

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, currently on a state visit to Egypt, today received at his guest residence in Cairo, Amr Mussa, the Secretary General of the Arab League.

During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and reviewed the latest situations at the Arab and international arenas, particularly the situations in Iraq and Palestine.

At the outset of the meeting, Amr Mussa briefed the Crown Prince on the efforts exerted by the Arab League in the two areas.

On his part, Crown Prince Sultan reiterated the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, for all efforts aiming at healing the Arab rifts and wounds and achieving understanding and coordination for the benefit of the Arab nation.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Aleiban and Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the Arab League, Ahmed Gattan.
