The Secretary General and Executive Chairman of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Mohammed Al-Simadi has commended the strength of the Saudi economy, noting that it is considered as one of the greatest economies in the region and among the oil producing countries.
In a press conference held here today before his tour of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait with the Chamber's Chairman, Sir Roger Tomex, he pointed out that the tour aims to brief the economic officials about the Chamber's works on developing and enhancing trade and investment and on transferring technology between Arab Gulf countries and Britain.
"We will be informed by the Arab Gulf officials of their economic orientation, investment climate and available projects at present and in the near future", he said.
Dr. Al-Simadi noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will hold two economic forums in Manchester and Edinborough next January, adding that a number of Saudi officials and businessmen will take part in the forums.
He indicated that the Chamber will set up an information center to provide reliable data on various economic spheres.
