Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, who is also the Honorary President of the Saudi Economic Society, chaired here today the first session of the Society's 15th annual meeting, which is held under the title 'The Saudi Stock Market.'
The session included a lecture on the stock market delivered by the Governor of the Stock Market Commission, Jammaz Al-Suheimi.
Al-Suheimi noted that the Saudi Stock Market has witnessed, in the last six years, a continuous growth at an average rate of 38 percent.
Highlighting the significant role being played by the Commission in protecting investors, Al-Suheimi said the Commission is keen on broadening and diversifying the stock market, as well as creating a secured investment environment.
