13Nov2005 Crown Prince Sultan Inaugurates Tactic Tank Firing Field

Hafr Al-Batin, Saudi Arabia, 13 November, 2005

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, inaugurated here today the project of Tactic Tank Firing Field in the Northern region.

Upon arrival at the venue, Crown Prince Sultan accompanied by Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern region, was received by a number of military officials.

The Crown Prince unveiled a memorial plaque and cut a ribbon marking the inauguration.

A speech ceremony was held on this occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, Prince Major General Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Commander of Armored Corps pointed out that the Crown Prince is a unique leader who has been behind all the accomplishments of the Saudi armed forces.

Then the Crown Prince watched a tank firing exercise with live ammunition in the new field.

Later, Crown Prince Sultan received a memorial gift from Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz.

The Crown Prince graced a luncheon held in his honor by the Commander of Armored Corps.

The exercise and the banquet were attended by a number of princes and senior officials.
