12Nov2005 Crown Prince Sultan Conveys Eid Greetings

Hafr Al-Baten, Saudi Arabia, 12 November, 2005

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, conveyed here today the greetings and congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also the Supreme Commander of All Armed Forces, to the personnel of the armed forces and Peninsula Shield Force in the Northern Region on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.

Upon arrival at the venue, he was received by Major General Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Shehri, the Commander of the Northern Region.

A speech ceremony was held on this occasion.

Addressing the servicemen, the Crown Prince blessed their solidarity, cooperation and cohesion, noting that they have set an ideal example of fraternity and cohesion.

He noted that the Kingdom is the country of Arabism, Islam, love and fraternity, which defends its accomplishments and the achievements of GCC and Arab countries, specially the Palestinian cause.

”I greet you and we watch the advance of all matters leading to the unity of ranks and upgrading the level of the armed forces in all Gulf countries”, the Crown Prince said.

He wished them all success and safety for their country.

Prince sultan was accompanied by Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern region, and a number of princes.
