The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of condolences to King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan on the great loss of a number of innocent people in Jordan as a result of terror blasts last night.
In his cable, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz said: "We have received, as has the rest of the world, the sad news on terror blasts that targeted the security and stability of our beloved country, Jordan".
He expressed in his own name and on behalf of the Saudi people the firm position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia beside their brethren in Jordan against any act that tries to destabilize Jordan.
He appealed to Almighty Allah to bestow his mercy on the victims of the terrorist acts, wishing the injured quick recovery.
He also wished Jordan, Saudi Arabia and humanity at large, every success against terrorists everywhere, confirming that religion is free from those criminals and wishing Jordan, Arab and Islamic countries and the entire world steady security and safety.
In a similar cable to the Jordanian monarch, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, expressed regret and sorrow for the killing, by terrorist, of tens of innocent people, most of them Muslims and also other nationalities.
He offered sympathy to the King and people of Jordan and families of the victims, wishing the dead good acceptance by the Almighty Allah and the injured quick recovery.
He also wished the Arab and Islamic nations security and safety until peace and fraternity are achieved among all peoples of the world.
