08Nov2005 Saudi Plane Laden With 70 Tons Of Relief Supplies Arrives In Islamabad

Islamabad, 8 November, 2005

A Saudi cargo plane laden with 70 tons of relief supplies, including tents, arrived in Islamabad last night to assist the victims of the earthquake that recently hit Pakistan .

Khalid Alsharhan, the delegate of the Ministry of Finance who supervises the Saudi relief operations, said operations have been coordinated with Pakistani government officials to deliver the 18th consignment to the needy in the quake-hit regions.
