The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has ordered the treatment of a Libyan child, Zuhour Naji.
Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabia'h, the Executive Director General for Health Affairs at the National Guard pointed out that a medical team, in King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, performed an eight hour successful operation on the child on Ramadan 7, 1426H, during which the urinary, genital and digestive systems were separated from each other, the anus opening was re-transplanted and the urinary and genital tract was rectified.
He noted that the Monarch, as usual, had paid attention to the child and her well-being. He had followed the medical check ups and the surgery until he was reassured that the surgery was successful and the child was safe.
The father of the little girl expressed his gratitude to the King for transferring the child, with his parents, to Riyadh and for treating her at his own expense.
