26Oct2005 King Abdullah Receives Ministers And Officials

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Safa Palace here today the Minister of Hajj, Dr. Fouad bin Abdulsalam Al-Farsy, Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Hajj and Heads of the National Pilgrim Guide Establishments.

The Monarch also received the Minister of Culture and Information, Vice President of King Abdullah Foundation for His Parents for Developmental Housing and the Foundation's Chairman of Executive Committee, Iyad bin Amin Madani, and the Committee's members.

Addressing the audience, King Abdullah thanked them, wishing them all success.

King Abdullah expressed his pleasure over the housing services provided by the Foundation for the needy people of Saudi Arabia in this blessed month of Ramadan, noting that these services will be followed, very soon, by a group of projects in a number of regions in the Kingdom.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Farsy pointed out that the Monarch has spared no efforts for the glory of Islam and Muslims particularly pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque. He added that the guests come to the Kingdom throughout the year and enjoy security, safety and all the services that enable them to perform their rituals easily and comfortably.

On his part, the Chairman of Coordinating Commission of the Pilgrim Guide Establishments, Abdullah Omar Ala'uddin praised the Kingdom's achievements; successive expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and the holy places and the developed services provided for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors.

Then the Foundation's Secretary General, Dr. Yosef Al-Othaimeen, presented reports on handing over 186 houses in the Al-Nabah village in Madinah, together with other services including mosques, schools, health centers, a training center and a cultural and social center.

The two audiences were attended by Prince Miteb bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Prince Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz; other princes and a number of officials.
