The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received here today Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Advisor to the King and Chairman of the National Call Committee in Africa; members of the Committee including Dr. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Abu A'bat, Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Samil, Dr. Salih bin Abdullah Al-Fadhel and Dr. Abdullah bin Saad Al-Dousari, accompanied by 30 Muslim callers representing 29 African countries currently participating in the Committee's 14th Forum entitled ''Relationship between Callers and Rulers'' due to be concluded in Makkah on Tuesday.
Addressing the audience, the Monarch said, ''I herald that Islam will be victorious and glorious. However, unfortunately, deviant Muslims tempted by the Satan and its stooges have defamed Islam. Islam will be glorious with many good Muslims such as you and its sons. As for the deviating group, its individuals are very, very few and they will be eradicated."
At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Abu Abat expressed his appreciation and thanked the Monarch for receiving them, noting that they have met Kingdom's Muslim scholars and delivered researches on strengthening relationship between callers and rulers religiously.
On behalf the participants in the Forum, Sheikh Sulaiman Al-Abi Yosef of Nigeria noted that Muslim scholars and thinkers have been following the King's honorable stances, positive proposals and practical initiatives taking into consideration maintaining the Muslim nation's glory.
The audience was attended by Prince Bandar bin Mohammed bin Abdulrahman; Prince Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Special Advisor to the King; Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah Al Saud; Prince Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Miqrin bin Abdulaziz, Chief on General Intelligence; a number of princes and senior officials.
Following a breaking-fast meal, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Louh, Dean of African College for Islamic Studies in Senegal delivered a poem on this occasion.
Then the Monarch received a memorial gift from Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud.
