19Oct2005 Tenth Saudi Relief Plane Arrives In Pakistan

Islamabad, 19 October, 2005

In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to carry out airlift operations to the city of Manshera in Pakistan for assisting victims of the earthquake which recently hit the city, the tenth Saudi relief cargo plane arrived here today .

The Representative of the Ministry of Finance Khalid Alsharhan said that the plane was carrying 70 tons of tents, foodstuffs and other relief supplies.

Also today, a Saudi cargo plane loaded with 12 tons of medical equipment and medicine for the Saudi field hospital in Manshera arrived here.
