In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to carry out airlift operations to Pakistan for assisting victims of the earthquake which recently hit the country, the ninth relief cargo plane arrived here today .
The representative of the Ministry of Finance, Saad Al-Otaibi said that the plane was carrying 70 tons of tents, foodstuffs and power generators.
Also on Tuesday evening, a Saudi cargo plane loaded with 12 tons of medical equipment and medicine for the Saudi field hospital arrived here. The hospital has started receiving the injured.
