The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received here today Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz on the occasion of his appointment as Secretary General of the National Security Council.
The Monarch directed Prince Bandar and wished him success in his new post.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the audience, Prince Bandar expressed his appreciation of and thanks to the Monarch, saying that he was honored to meet the King and he thanked him for the royal confidence in him, praying to Almighty Allah to help him in performing his assigned mission and in serving the religion, the King and the people.
