16Oct2005 Saudi Relief Plane Leaves For Pakistan

Riyadh, 16 October, 2005

In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to carry out airlift operations to Pakistan for assisting victims of the earthquake which recently hit the country, the sixth relief plane left here today for Pakistan.

The plane carried more than 67 tons of tents, foodstuffs, blankets and 10 power generators.
