In implementation of the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to provide urgent assistance for the people affected by the earthquake that recently hit Pakistan, a Saudi medical relief team left here today for Pakistan.
In a press statement, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabie'ah, the Executive Director General for Health Affairs at the National Guard pointed out that the team, comprising 60 doctors, was part of the campaign, ordered by the Monarch, to help the victims of the earthquake. The campaign also includes a 50-bed field hospital, two clinics and an emergency department.
