Jeddah, 15 August, 2005

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) will not increase ticket prices despite rising jet fuel costs all over the world, Jeddah-based 'Arab News' quoted Dr. Khalid Bin Bakr, the SAA's Director General, as saying.

SAA has decided to bear the excess fuel cost and maintain its ticket prices as they are without change, Bin Bakr added.

The assurance comes at a time when most foreign airlines have decided to impose a special surcharge of SR 42 on roundtrip tickets to international destinations .
