The Board of the Executive Directors of the Islamic Development Bank concluded here today its 232nd session under the chairmanship of the Bank's President, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali.
Dr. Ali pointed out that the Bank approved urgent assistance to Mali with a sum of $376,000 and to Niger with a sum of $568,000, to alleviate the effects of severe drought.
The Bank also approved financing foreign trade for Mali to import rice worth $13 million.
Dr Ali indicated that the total approved finances during the session was $455.6 million.
