An Arab summit in Egypt, due this week, has been postponed for a few days following the death of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, an Arab League official said on Monday.
"The postponement is for a few days," the Arab League official, Hesham Youssef, told Reuters, from the Red Sea resort of Sharm-al-Sheikh, where the summit was due to take place on Wednesday.
"Consultations will take place in order to decide on a new date," Youssef said, quoting the Arab League Chief Amr Moussa.
