The Minister of Water and Electricity, Abdullah Al-Hussayn, has announced the launch of the second phase of the program for combining the water and electricity bills in six regions ( Riyadh, Asir, Tabuk, Qasim, Madinah and Makkah region) across Saudi Arabia to cover 80 percent of the Kingdom, reported the Al-Watan newspaper.
The third phase will include the regions that do not have modern water administrations and these are: Jouf, the Northern Border, Hail, Jazan, Najran and Baha, according to the report, which was published today by the Arab News.
Al-Hussayn said that the Eastern Region was chosen to be the first for implementing the program, which has proven successful because of its medium size and the availability of the necessary success factors.
