02Jul2005 British Prime Minister Arrives in Riyadh

Riyadh, 2 July 2005

The British Prime Minister, Tony Blair and his accompanying delegation arrived here today.

At the Riyadh Airbase they were received by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland; Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Ayyaf Al Miqren, the Mayor of Riyadh City, Dr. Ghazi bin Abdulrahman Al-Gosaibi, the Minister of Labor; a number of officials and the British Ambassador to the Kingdom, Sherard Cowper Coles.
