Kuwait's Minister of Finance, Badr Mashari Alhomaidi, currently taking part in the meetings of the Council of Governors of Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank, lauded the initiative of Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the initiative of the United Arab Emirates, calling for developing the role of the Bank in promoting trade exchange among its member states.
Based on the initiative, the Islamic Corporation for Trade Promotion was set up.
Addressing the 30th meeting of the Council of Governors of IDB, Alhomaidi said Kuwait will support the Corporation's activities.
