15Jun2005 Prince Sultan's Donation to the Blind in Yemen to Perform Hajj

Sanaa, 15 June 2005

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General has donated a sum of SR 300,000 to enable 30 blind persons from Yemen-based Al-Aman Society for Care of the Blind to perform the Hajj rituals this year.

Prince Sultan also donated a number of school books for the blind to the Society.

Handing the cheques to the blind in Sanaa today, Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, Mohammed bin Mirdas Al-Qahtani praised Prince Sultan for his donations to the society.
