Seven suspects of the deviant group were killed and one critically injured in a gunfight in Al-Qassim Region on Sunday, an official source at the Ministry of Interior said today.
The source revealed that a number of suspects were found out in a residential building in Jawazat Neighborhood near a primary girls school, in Rass Governorate. On arrival at the site, security forces were heavily attacked by machine guns and hand grenades. The forces evacuated the area and silenced the suspects after warning them that they should surrender.
A number of security men were slightly injured and most of them were discharged from hospital. The security forces have continued mopping up the site, the source noted.
