04Apr2005 King Fahd donation of SR 40 million to aid employment of Saudis

Minister of Labor Dr Ghazi Al-Gosaibii has expressed appreciation for the SR 40 million donation extended by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd bin Abdulaziz for establishing a center for recruitment of Saudis.

Dr Al-Quseibi said the center will be named 'The Center of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques for Recruitment'.

He noted that the center will help job seekers to find suitable jobs, and at the same time it will help employers to get acquainted with the available skills. In addition, the center will also undertake vocational guidance and training.

Dr Al-Gosaibi said the Human Resources Development Fund will undertake the implementation of the project of the center. The center will have branches at the labor offices in various regions of the Kingdom. 'The center will positively contribute to the employment of Saudis who are genuinely seeking jobs', he added.
