29Mar2005 Shoura Council holds session

Presided over by its Chairman Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, the Shoura Council held its 77th session here today.

In a press statement following the meeting, the Council's Secretary General Dr. Homoud bin Abdulaziz Al-Badr said that the Council approved [measures against] forgery of visual photos and copies of computers and added a text in this regard to the regulation for combating forgery.

The Council also approved a regulation on services provided for internal pilgrims to perform their Hajj rituals easily and comfortably.

He added that the Council approved a proposal for issuing a regulation on the establishment of an association of writers and literary men in the Kingdom.
