Minister of Labor Dr. Ghazi Al-Qusaibi, called today on the owners of establishments, which have yet to meet the target percentage of Saudization, and the establishments, whose Saudization [is cosmetic rather than real], to take advantage of the campaign promoting recruitment of Saudis and to employ Saudis coming from labor offices.
Dr. Al-Qusaibi clarified the advantages of recruiting Saudis, such as the fact that the Human Resources Development Fun will pay half of their wages for two years.
He also referred to the imposition of sanctions against establishments which violated the rules, including a foreign recruitment ban on them for 5 years and denial of any benefit from the projects offered by the government to the private sector.
