16Mar2005 Reduction in the number of work visas for last year

Riyadh, 16 Mar 2005

The number of entry visas issued by Saudi authorities for foreigners seeking jobs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached 756,610 in 1425 H., dramatically decreasing from the year before, officials said here today.

A statement issued by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor for Planning and Development Dr. Abdulwahid bin Khalid Alhomaid said the rate of reduction was 15.1 percent.
