The Consultative (Shoura) Council approved agreement on a draft document of commitment, concord and solidarity among Arab countries' leaders during a session held here today and presided over by the chairman Sheikh Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid.
The Council also approved an amendment of Article 8 of the treaty on the joint defense and economic cooperation among Arab countries, Secretary General of the Council Dr. Homood Albadr said in a statement following the session. The amendment concerns economic and financial issues.
