Saudi Arabia's delegation to the 10th Arab Youth Festival, which concluded in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum tonight, were ranked first on aggregate.
Crowning its activities over the last two weeks, the Saudi delegation won the trophy of the event for obtaining leading rank in the contests of the festival under the auspices of the Cairo-based Arab League.
More than 600 male and female young people from 20 Arab countries took part in the event. The Saudi participants ranked first in theatrical activity; the award for best actor went to Fahd Alkhiraiji from Saudi Arabia. The Saudi delegation also won the first place in story writing, the second in plastic arts contest.
