The Ministry of Culture and Information has completed its special preparations to provide state-of-the-art coverage of the Int'l Conference on Terrorism scheduled for Riyadh on Saturday.
The concerned authorities at the Ministry have already registered names of the delegates taking part in the four-day event, issued their relevant identification cards and reserved the transportation means to be used for their movements from and to the conference site and their residences in the city of Riyadh.
Two information centers will be at the disposal of media representatives who have come to provide their headquarters with detailed coverage of this important event. One is located on the sidelines of the conference at the Intercontinental hotel while the other is operating from Marriot hotel where the delegations are residing.
The two centers have been equipped with the state-of-the-art media and information technologies. Round-the-clock special rooms for television and press briefings are available in the sites.
The opening ceremony will be held on Saturday at King Abdulaziz International Center for Conferences. The conference's program will be announced at that session, followed by key speeches from leaders of delegations. In the evening of the same day, the first session of the workshops will be held under the theme "Thought and Roots of Terrorism", the second session under the title "Relation
between Terrorism on one hand and Money Laundering and Drugs on the other", the third will be a discussion of the "Experience of Countries in Combating Terrorism" and the last on "Terrorist Organizations and Their Formations".
The conference will issue a final communiqué and recommendations on the last day.
