Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Fu'ad bin Abdulsalam Al Farsy today inspected the media center at Mariot hotel which has been prepared by the Ministry on the occasion of the international conference to combat terrorism to be hosted by Riyadh on Saturday for four days.
He was received by Prince Mohammed bin Khalid, Director for the Studies and Information Center at the Foreign Ministry and Dr. Salih bin Mohammed Al Namlah, Assistant Undersecretary of Culture and Information, and a number of officials.
The minister praised the efforts exerted by the officials in the center.
A similar visit to the center was paid by Prince Turki bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Culture and Information.
In response to a question following the visit, he confirmed that the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Abdullah and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz in the fight against terrorism are continuing.
He lauded the Saudi local media coverage of the recent terrorist attacks and called on the representatives of the world community in the conference to reflect the real picture of the fight against terrorism in the kingdom to the external world.
