The Saudi Electricity Company has recently approved projects worth SR 7106 million within the framework of its budget for the year 2005 A.D.

The Company's Executive Chief Officer Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Qadhi pointed out that there will be 257 new projects aimed at maintaining the stability of electricity service supplies, increasing investment in the sector of generating power and transferring it to all regions in the Kingdom and providing new subscribers with electricity.
