24Nov2004 Saudi Transport Minister delivers statement on Arab cooperation

Cairo, 24th November 2004

Minister of Transport of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraiseri said that the Kingdom was selected as a member of the Executive Bureau of Arab Transport Ministerial Council for a two-year term.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) at the close of the Council’s 17th session in Cairo, the Minister noted that the Council renewed the terms of Bureau members, including Kuwait, Egypt, Syria and Algeria for two years, and stressed that the Kingdom is an important member of the Bureau.

He added that the Kingdom is keen to increase development and expansion of the Arab economy and promote and implement measures for Arab economic cooperation.
