10Oct2004 Kingdom donates $6 million to UNRWA

Amman, 10th October 2004

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia donated $6 million to programs executed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The donation was granted in a memorandum of understanding today signed by Vice-President and Managing Director of the Saudi Development Fund Eng. Yusef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam and UNRWA Commissioner General Peter Hansen.
