In a speech at the German Federal Intelligence Agency conference on terrorism, Saudi Ambassador to Britain and Ireland Prince Turki Al-Faisal, stressed the importance of international cooperation to combat terrorism and address its root causes.
At the conference in Berlin, Prince Turki cited the suffering of the Palestinian people and the state of anarchy and chaos in Iraq as outstanding issues that threaten regional and international security and fuel terrorist recruitment.
The Ambassador’s speech, circulated today by the Saudi Embassy in London, emphasised the importance of enhancing international political and security cooperation against terrorism at all levels, and noted the importance of preventive work by exchange of intelligence information and promotion of understanding among nations and civilizations.
