The Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EPCCI) organised a workshop on Saudi Arabia’s bid for accession to the World Trade Organization at its headquarters in the Eastern Province on 9-10 October 2004.
The workshop aims to educate private sector businesses about economic, commercial and legal implications of the Kingdom’s entry into the Organisation. Similar workshops will take place in Jubail on 12-13 November.
Tariq Al-Zuhd, EPCCI consultant for WTO affairs, will conduct a series of lectures at the two-day workshop. Al-Zuhd has many years’ experience with WTO issues, and has conducted similar workshops and training courses in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab League member states.
