27Sep2004 Saudi Petroleum Minister, U.S. experts review oil market

Riyadh, 27th September 2004

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng Ali Al-Naimi today reviewed with three experts in Middle East affairs at the U.S. Congress Research Department the situation of international oil markets and efforts exerted by the Kingdom to stabilize oil markets to serve the interests of both producer and consumer countries.

Al-Naimi reiterated to the U.S. delegation the keenness of the Kingdom to stabilize oil markets and work with other OPEC member states to ensure the continuation of oil supplies to meet demand.

The meeting was attended by Dr Ibrahim Al-Muhanna, Advisor at the office of the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
