31Jul2004 “Arabian Days” festival begins in London

London, 31st July 2004

Saudi Ambassador to Britain and Ireland Prince Turki Al-Faisal today inaugurated the Saudi “Arabian Days” festival.

The Saudi festival, which will be held every year, exhibits Saudi antiques, traditional crafts, artefacts, Arabian camels, horses and other animals, and features traditional Saudi dancing and song.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Prince Turki said that the festival is aimed to present the Kingdom’s cultural diversity to the British public. Prince Turki praised the excellent organization of the festival. A number of ambassadors visited the festival, which will continue tomorrow.
