12Jul2004 New factory established in Yanbu industrial city

Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, 12th July 2004

Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Thinayyan Al-Saud, Chairman of Jubail and Yanbu Royal Commission approved the establishment of a new factory for producing polyester flakes, quilts, and pillows in the industrial city of Yanbu.

A national company submitted the proposal for the factory with capital worth SR12 million and a production capacity of 14,000 tons per year. The factory, which will commence operation in 2005, will be constructed on 2.6 hectares of land and provide 60 jobs.
