11Jul2004 Engineering and computer colleges to be established in Jazan

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, who is also Prime Minister and President of the Higher Council of Education, approved a number of academic decisions adopted by the Higher Education Council during its 34th session.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Minister of Higher Education Dr Khalid bin Mohammad Al-Anqari said that the Council approved the establishment of two new colleges in Jazan for engineering and computer studies, which will be affiliates of King Khaled University.

Al-Anqari added that among decisions approved by the Council were a number of appointments and memorandum of understanding for scientific research.
