Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz ordered reformation of the Standing Committee of the Supreme Economic Council.
Accordingly, Dr Abdul Aziz Al-Khuwaitir, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, will be Chairman of the Committee.
The following will be members of the Committee: Dr Mutlab Al-Nafissa, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; the Minister of Commerce and Industry; the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; the Minister of Finance; the Minister of Economy and Planning; Abdullah Zeinal Minister of State and Member of Cabinet; the Minister of Water and Electricity; and the Governor of SAMA.
