30May2004 Shourah Council condemns Al-Khobar attacks

Riyadh, 30th May 2004

The Shoura Council condemned the criminal attacks perpetrated in Al-Khobar on Saturday, resulting in the death of a number of citizens and residents.

In a statement issued today, following a Shoura Council meeting, led by Chairman Dr Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, the Council denounced the terrorist acts carried out by a deviant group that aims to destabilize society, provoke and spread dissension, and serves the enemies of the country.

The Council reiterated its support for steps taken by the Saudi government and security forces to preserve security in the Kingdom and confront the deviant group.
