The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) and Malaysia’s Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish an MDC office at the Chamber in Jeddah. The MDC office will coordinate joint projects for the development of Information Computers Technology (ICT).
The memorandum was signed by JCCI Chairman Adel Fakieh and Vice-President of MDC Abdullah Kadir Bacha. “We aim to assist Saudis wishing to establish businesses in Malaysia and provide opportunities for Malaysian businessmen in Saudi Arabia via the Chamber in ICT sector and production services,” Bacha told Arab News. He said that the office will cover the Middle East region, focusing principally on Saudi Arabia, and that there would be exchanges of training programs both for small and medium enterprises (SME’s) and human resources development.
