Riyadh, 15 May 2004

A Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) plane crashed on Saturday at King Faisal Airbase in Tabuk during a training exercise, said an official source at the Ministry of Defense and Aviation. 'As the result of the incident Captain Mishal bin Hammad Al-Hammad died', said the official source. There were no other casualties. Investigations are underway into the causes of the crash, the official source said.
